Jingo is the Band:- Santana were propelled into international stardom by their spectacular appearance at Woodstock, particularly their spirited performance of "Soul Sacrifice", one of the highlights of the Woodstock film. Their unique blend of psychedelic progressive rock, Latin and blues influences was perfected by the time their second album, "Abraxas" was released, becoming an all time classic which established Santana as one of the great rock acts. Jingo is a nine piece band made up of professional musicians who share a long standing respect for the music of Santana. Over the last two years, Jingo have put together a show which pays tribute to Santana, both in their music and the spirit of their live performance. In so doing, Jingo have built up an excellent reputation in the Westcountry where they are based. Their set takes the audience back over the last three decades, through the ground breaking music of Moonflower and Caravanserai, to hits such as She's Not There , Black Magic woman to the energetic Soul Sacrifice made famous at Woodstock. The new album SUPERNATURAL is also featured in the set.
